How do we determine what exactly video art is? It is based on one's own interpretation of what they view as art and the way we can incorporate this art into a video.

What materials can be used or considered when creating video art? Anything from the body and beyond. By creating a reaction from a person or a group when pointing a camera towards them we can use this to convey a story or particular message.

Where did video art originate from? In the 1960s, Dick Higgins, George Maciunas, Nam June Pail, and Wolf Vostell, contributed their work to the birth of video art.
